I've wished for years I could live up on the mountain and grow a large forest garden all spring and summer long, the time has come that the White House lawn now has a "Victory Garden" (WWII term for growing yer own Veggies) and I think we should all try and get something out of the soil, produce just one thing we eat at home, try it! Otherwise, you miss the most simple joy in life, a hint of self-sufficiency...
